Winters Friends of the Library is a group of community volunteers who support the Winters Library and promote lifelong learning by raising funds, sponsoring educational programs and community events, and working to build a new library. Please join us! Your membership will help:

It will be a fantastic new resource for the community, where children can enjoy story time and develop a love of learning; young people can use the public computers for school assignments or for fun; community groups can gather in the spacious new meeting rooms; adults can learn to navigate the Web or meet to discuss the latest bestseller; and everyone can enjoy striking works by local artists, cozy reading nooks, and the beautiful, light-filled space. We are very excited about the new library and the possiblities it will open up for expanded literacy programs, family reading programs, adult education programs, and just for the pleasure of visiting this wonderful new place. YOU CAN HELP by making a donation for: • New books, CDs and DVDs to replace old, outdated, or damaged materials • Laptop computers for adult education classes • Funding to keep the library open additional evening and weekend hours. Please join us in investing in this great new community asset! • We welcome your tax-deductible donation in any amount. • All donors to the New Library Fund will be recognized in the program for the library dedication. • For each $25 gift, you may specify an inscription for a personalized bookplate to be placed in a book, CD or DVD for the new library. • Donors of $100 or more will be invited to a special preview party and recognized on a large sign at the library dedication. (Donation must be received by November 1.) • Donors of $500 or more will receive special recognition on a permanent sign at the library. • Naming opportunities are available.
