Fruit and Nut Tree Sale March 6Saturday, March 6 (rain or shine) Save money on groceries—grow your own fruit! Buy bare-root fruit and nut trees from Sierra Gold Nurseries of Yuba City for $10 each: peach, nectarine, apricot, apple, pear, cherry, pomegranate, almond. Potted dwarf citrus trees from Four Winds Growers of Winters for $25 each: orange, lemon, and lime. Varieties subject to availability. Limit ten bare root trees/ two citrus per customer. Master Gardeners and pruners will be on hand to explain techniques for pruning and planting the trees. All proceeds go directly to purchase new books and media for the library.
